Indian national in asia pac since past 7 years can get UK Vi

hi,

I am Indian national currently in Malaysia since past 7 years i have applied for tier 2 work permit for UK. My COS is A rated and sponsorship scores me 60 point and 10 points for my master degree taught in English.

My question is i am having valid work permit (12th July 12) visa for Malaysia and can i get UK entry clearance visa stamped in Malaysia will it be any obstacle from UKBA to grant me the visa ? I have also applied for 2 dependents in Malaysia who are here since past 4 years with me.

If you are not merely visiting Malaysia and have a valid residence permit (and it appears that you do), then you may apply for Tier 2 visa from there.
