Debting bank account

hi
i have posted my application on 31st of march and it was received by HO at 2nd of april.i paid my fees through debit card(LYTSB) but money is not deducted till today. i would appreciated any feedback from applicants how have submitted on same day or after.

If you browse through this thread you will see a number of people have rasied the same question and the most logical explaination for this is due to PSW visa now closed, loads of people would have applied hence the number of applications must have increased manifold, this might be the casue of the delay.

hi ahmed
i am having the same problem. i sent mine on 29th march and it reached there on 30th. they havn't taken the money yet.
did they debit your fees. please post the progress of you application.

hi mate, nope nothing yet.one of my friend posted at 26th of march,his money been deducted on 11th april.so ours should be deducted by this week.finger crossed........

If you used Lloyds bank account suggest calling them as early as possible to see if there's been a problem.

I have submitted my application twice due to the bank refusing to deduct the payment even if they've been notified that I will make a huge payment to home office.

My papers were sent back the 1st time and I had to pay through postal order. I also had to renew my bank statements and all the dates and sigs in the application form as they returned my papers almost a month after I submitted.

hi,thanks for reply. just spoke with bank.they said they wont stop any transaction as long as i have enough money in account. i have also paid my student visa extension fees through debit card before. its nearly 17 days of HO receiving my application now, really bit worried..........

hi, i think people who applied end of march and after are facing same problem.i was looking through the processing time thread and find no posting from people applied on end of march or after. but it shouldn't take that long to debit ours account.........

Hi guys , I am having the same problem with my PSW Application,
Applied on the 29th March2012
Recieved by Home office on 30th March 2012
Gave debit card as my payment method.

And till this moment nothing has happened,
Called my bank several times last week to ask if they have stopped a transaction or has HO attempted to take the money but they always told me , Nothing of that sort has been requested or rejected.
So I am back to the same loop.
Annoying part is that I caleed them today and after being on the line for 13 minutes a fat lady said Hello how may i help you and as soos as i said i want too enquire about my application , I was still speaking and she put the fone down by saying THANKS FOR CALLING BYE BYE
That was flipping annoying , I cant explain how i felt, and i am still cursing with anger, No one gives them the right to treat people like that but anyway, to this date nothing has happened so I am freaking out now guys as well as you are, Please let us know by keeping us updated on this thread thankyou.

i think they have finally taken the money. the available balance is now 594ponds short. so dont have to worry about it guys.
i applied on 29 th and the money was taken today (19th)

Hi Archie,

I have the same dates as you, sent on 31st March, reached UKBA 2nd April and I'm also in the same situation as you, they still have not taken the money. However, my friend who sent it on 28th March had his account debited on the 19th April, so it seems that they are starting to process applications now. Fingers crossed though.

I think they have finally taken the money. My online account(credit card) says they have authorised the payment and it will show on my account in next couple of days.

Dont worry. They have started the procedure now, hopefully yours will be deducted soon.
