US Visa rejecttion

Post by sukumar_engg » Mon Nov 20, 2006 11:55 am

Dear All,
This is Sukumar.
I am based in UK originally from India.
I have the following question.
(1) In the year June 2002 and July 2002 I was rejected for Student visa for US [So I was rejected twice].
It is almost more than 4 years, can I apply for H1B visa for USA.

(2)If so, Can I apply from UK since I am Indian. I am on work permit in UK. Or Do do I have to go to India for applying visa.

(3) which is better to apply in India or UK regarding US H1B visa.

Thanks a lot for help.
With regards,
Sukumar

You cannot apply for an H1B visa anywhere. The employer must apply for you.

Hi sukumar,

Well if its not too late,
U need to find an employer in US and he has to apply for UR H1B Petition after that U will get the approval and U need to book an appointment in London embassy to attend an interview. If every thing goes smoothly then, its all.

It doesn't matter if U R indian Citizen or not, as long as U are resident in UK you can apply for H1B.

All the best.

Kal
