No one should go to Gerry's until the status online and the text message/email they get states "Ready for collection". It's when that is done you should go and collect. I'm not sure whether you need an appointment or not, but phone them or get your spouse to, just to make sure you have one if you do need one. No point in going all the way there to get told to go away. It's a 5 min call + 5 mins of automated useless waffle from the machine call to fix that.

I suspect some ACs will change a lot of the applications to ready for collection tomorrow and the remainder on Monday, this is based on what's happened in the past.

That's what I think too if they change the status and send texts between 2-5 half of people can get their passports tomorrow otherwise will be Monday.

maybe status change signifies coming back from abu dhabi and as the rest of us never went to abu dhabi, we dont get that update

They dont have a clue honestly i really dont see the point of them even having a call centre. They just tell u wat we see online anyway. But in ur case they cant even seem to do that right. Idiots!!

Only some will get that today I think, it all depends on whether Gerrys will get their act together and deal with them quickly. I think the pressure is on them to deal with them asap as a lot of applications are well over 60 days, so they've definitely miss the so called "standard" they aim to achieve.

We heard on this thread alone, if Gerrys get it, definitely today they got it as delivering items within the same country doesn't take more than 24 hours.

Give it till Tuesday guys, if it's not showing Ready to collect by then, start bugging them so they pull their hands out their pockets and do something.

12 March you applied, with the bulk of the heavy application season about to get replies, I would say if you're lucky then 2nd or 3rd week of May before you get a response. Give it till week 4 in May before you start to get concerned.

Most Prob 1st or 2nd week of June..

i just called Gerrys and they say the VISA is with Islamabad internal department of embassy they will be despatched to lahore but don't know when.

The guys on the phone are in a call centre somewhere, not in the actual ACs so, don;t apay any attention to what they say.

The applications should be with them already, if not at some point today. Ready for collection at some point over the next few working days.

thats pathetic of them as because of them somebody visa which might already have been granted ages ago, be expired if they take a rest on friday.
