HSMP Extension Doubt

Post by bouncingboy » Tue Jul 27, 2004 11:43 am

Hi Experts,

When can we apply for hsmp extension ?

the FLR(IED) form says 5 weeks
but the workingin the uk website says 2 months

Quote:
5. How do I get an extension?

Extension applications should be submitted two months before your leave to remain as a Highly Skilled Migrant expires.

You must submit:

A fully completed FLR(IED) application form.
The correct payment.
Any original documentation required to support statements made on the FLR(IED) application form.

Please can the experts shed some lights on this ?

Thanks

IMHO I would say go with the FLR IED time frame as it is in line with the immigration rules - any issues relating to FLR issuance get approached from a "what do the rules say" angle - you would thus be covered. However as always the decision is yours to take.
