Tier 1 (General) Extension for Dependants

Post by mark_b » Sat Apr 21, 2012 12:13 pm

I am currently on a 3 year Tier 1 visa which expires in June. My partner is on a Tier 1 dependant visa too and when looking at the dependant forms for an extension I can't see anything about proving that our relationship is still subsisting. For our initial application we had to supply loads of documents to prove we lived together and were in a relationship as we are not married.

All I can see on the dependant application form are the bank statements required for 90 days. Is this all we have to supply or am I missing something?

Please help!

Thanks

Yes the form does not ask you to send any documents to prove subsisting. However many applicants on this forum have sent their marriage certificate and proof of cohabitation (utility bills etc.). But again, many PEO applicants were not asked these documents at the time of application, and were granted extension
On this forum you would be given recommendations to provide marriage certificate and proof of cohabitation
Hope this answer helps

Thanks for the reply slient_warrior. I hate that there are always these grey areas with the paperwork. As we don't have a marrigage certificate do you think maybe if I get a letter from my bank as we have a joint account that says we have had it for 3 years together at the same address. Also, maybe she can provide some utility bills to prove this, 1 years worth enough?

Thanks
