Guys,

A family friend of ours, got her visa she applied approx late Dec @ ISB. They found out about few days ago!

Hope those of you who are waiting, get the good news you have been waiting for such a long time

People like them dont fear Allah and know it is a sin to lie and then on top off that they cause us uneccessary stress

Will it hurt them to just tell us the truth man? What are they paid to do? Just sit around and tell the applicants a loads of lies over the phone....?

I think everyone is being harsh with Gerrys and the rest of the Immigration team. I believe they are given a difficult task to separate the wheat from the chaff and I don't think we make it any easier "Are we there yet?" reminders and a lot of people may be very abusive to them as well.

yes they could become more efficient and maybe there are a few baddies in the lot but I think it is unfair to start calling them liars and the likes

I just hope that it is good news and I am willing to wait longer

I got married 2 years ago but due to circumstances could not apply earlier. I am just grateful my husband is ok and in good health

First of all congratulations to everybody who's status changed to AC I'm soo excited. I totally agree with everybody gerrys are incapable of doing their job efficiently as everybody knows the processed applications are at the AC, just because they want easy Friday as its all ready a half day in Pakistan. In my opinion they shud have a 24hr turn around timescale and ukba shud add this as a condition in thier SLA for applications.

I think maybe after the weekend status may change to ready for collection

Theres my timeline changed now aswell. lol
I think we shud all go n bug gerrys. lol As soon as 1 person who has applied in the same application centre as us gets a ready 4 collection, all the other applicant who have also applied in that same application centre shud go the next day, at least that way we r 100% sure that the application centre we have applied in has recieved the bunch and opened it aswell. lol

When peoples appeal go do they go to Islambad embassy or Dubai?

inshallah u will hear next week , monday-tuseday as u applied a 7 woring days after nasir , his passport came back on 16/4 so yours will come inshallah on /before 25, and mine one week after that inshallah

I got married on March 23, 2012 in Islamabad and I moved to Karachi on March 24, 2012, My Husband is British citizen and settled in the UK.

This wait is so killing, any one who got settlement Visa from Karachi; please mention your application timeline.

29-03-2012 Application submitted at Karachi
29-03-2012 application forwarded to islamabad oc
13-04-2012 application forwarded to bhc for process
