Total Stay=Tier 1 PSW + Tier 1 General?

My husband went to UK in Sep 2008 on Student Visa.

He got his Tier-1 PSW in Feb 2010 while in UK.

He got his Tier-1 General Visa in June 2011 while in UK.

All these visas were applied from UK so this means he has stayed in UK for the whole time i.e. more than 2 years on Tier-1.

So i have talked to the Visa call centre guy i.e. the senior most guy there John; he said please confirm with your husband that when he applied for Tier-1 General; he was asked to maintain funds of 2800 or 800? I confirmed n my husband said he maintained 800; for this reason Visa Call centre guy said your funds will be 533.( Coz he stayed in UK for more than a year on Tier-1 he had to show 800 otherwise 2800)

Else,...

If my husband had to maintain 2800 then my funds required were 1600. (Coz of staying in UK less than 12 months)


Now wat do u suggest?
BTW i have applied for the visa already...waiting

If you applied for extension before 6th April 2012, then yes your maintenance funds requirement was £533 and £800 for him.

Yes it is £533, as maintenance funds depends on your husbands stay in the UK.
If he has stayed for all those years in the UK (i.e 2.5 years) he would only be required to show £533

n before PSW he was on Tier 4 Student Visa

In total 3+ years
on Tier 1 its 2.5 years
n on General its 10 months
