And yeh some applications have come back quick i dont know why...my cousin submitted hers in isb on 17th jan and got her visa in 13 days!!! so i guess when they want to they do send them back quick...but i dont think hers went to abu dhabi well thats what she says anyway... and a neighbour of ours submitted his wifes in february and she was here at the end of the month so obviously that never took long!! but then he did let it leak that his was a paid job..that someone in pak takes around 8 grand in pounds and does the job for them...not sure i would want to spend that much lol

How is this possible u say it's a paid job I don't believe it's possible its just pot luck they got their visa. I believe and people will tell you it's purely a matter of some applications are processed quicker than others.

Fact 1: Each case is compltely different to another so is handled completely different to another.

Fact 2: Whilst you may think a decision is straightforward, for them it's not always easy. There may umpteen questions which need answering which takes more time.

Fact 3: There is a huge increase in the number of applications, which is why post christmas it's take so much longer than pre-christmas.

Nobody is trying to give anybody false hope!!!
Just stating facts which HAVE happened!! people have recieved there documents back within 3-4 weeks just cuz you dont know of anyone thats hasnt does not mean that it is not true..
its not my problem if you want to assume otherwise!!
and yes each case is different(as u stated yourself) so some people will get an answer quicker than others...

just got a little qst....when u have been rejected and thereafter the appeal at the court goes ur way, then when GERRY's call/email you to submit ur passport again, then do they give u an (1)appointment or (2)ask YOU which day u wanna cum and submit passport or (3)do they just say whenever possible then submit ur passport....
if any1 knows for CERTAIN of which one of the three possibilities above happens then please let me know, much appreciated
