Depends on gerrys, could be next day if they are quick, could be a week if they are not.

Nope, there are some people who've been waiting 3 calendar weeks longer than me. I'm not even close to being the longest.

As fo your application, it appears as if it isn't part of the batch that was sent together to Abu Dhabi. So you'll get your status changes completely independent of the big batch of applicants who got a collective response last week.

This seems soo untrue as people here been waiting longer than 41 working days.

The UK Border Agency (Visa Section) at the British High Commission in Islamabad deals with applications made by business visitors, visit visas for 2, 5 and 10 years, and settlement applications (for applications submitted on or after 25 October 2010). We aim to process all applications as quickly as possible. Current processing times for visit applications is five working days. For settlement, we are currently processing within forty-one working days.

Is it worth sending a quick email to gerrys and stating to them due to time constraints the application status changed to ac but still not changed to ready for collection, maybe if you guys emphasis the 28 days to lodge a appeal maybe worth a try.

Dont know if its gonna do any gud may speed up the process and get a prompt response. I say put some english style pressure on gerrys maybe it will work you guys got nothing to loose as decision already made and that cant be affected any longer.

Thank you for emailing the Visa Section of the British High Commission Islamabad, Pakistan. Please allow five working days for us to respond. There is no need to send your email again.

For a status update on a current visa application please contact the UK Border Agency’s partner, Gerry’s Pakistan, by visiting their website www.ukvacpk.com or by phoning 0900 10411 from a landline or 8865 from a mobile. These calls are charged at a premium rate of 10 Rupees per minute. If you are calling from the United Kingdom, please call 0871 7043005.

^ Well if thats true its clear that the UKBA are not adhering to the context!

Just come across this forum and realized I am not the only one waiting for a while (not sure if its a good or bad thing)

I applied for a VAF5 application ( which is "supposed" to be an accelerated process") and still haven't heard anything.

The applications are in transit. They are in the process of being handed over from the BHC to Gerrys.

This should be the week Insha'Allah.
