Documents and BRP: Waiting waiting waiting and i hate waiting that long

I am at work and my house mate says there is "one thin letter from Croyon that does not say exactly who from" for me...could this be the decison letter?
(Can those who have received theirs comment on if it is not labelled with UKBA on it, etc?)

They got my name wrong so I had to wait a whole week to get the corrected letter and then do my biometrics.

The waiting is killing me and I wanted to travel at the end of this week

It can't just be a letter, Your documents will come with the decision letter normally (recorded delivery) and the BRP is via DX delivery.

When I checked just yesterday, the website actually said it was considering applications where biometrics were given on or before 3rd march!! And I checked twice or thrice in the day and it said the same thing.. SO yeah, they are having issues with the system and i wouldnt rely on the dates being posted out there.!

I have been following the website as well and I am pretty sure that for some period of the day I checked it on, it said 3rd march !
My point being that it looks apparent that the system is having issues what with people already receiving their docs inspite of submitting biometrics beyond 12th march! Therefore all we need to do is (and all we can do ) wait.!!!

It still says working on or before March 12.

Anyway I had given mine on 28th of march in Earls court post office I know I have a long way to go in the que. Would like to know any buddies applied on that time line and location?

Biometric enrolled: 16th Mar (Earl's Court Post office
Approval Letter: Received a card from DX delivery today, arranged for delivery on Wednesday.

As i'm not waiting for any other packages from DX, one can assume that this is my letter. Since I did submit biometrics on the 16th, I wanted to let you know that it looks like the UKBA has definitely moved past 12th March.

From where did you have the track number?

It is only possible to track if you send them your application including return postage. I did send mine with special next day return postage I had the receipt to track it if they post my documents back.

Have you gotten in touch with UKBA? It seems it would be reasonable of you to call them and find out.

Nnaku don't worry that yours hasn't come yet, give till the end of this week cos that will be 6 weeks. I gave mine on the 5th of March but got my visa and documents on the 23rd and 21st of April, respectively, so don't use other people's timeline to get scared. Delay might not necessarily mean refusal but that they are carrying out extra checks. Also they didn't use the special delivery envelope which I included, to send back my documents. So anyone who's tracking their envelope, don't despair if you don't see any info, your documents might be on their way. It took 3 days for mine to reach me from day of despatch.

The bottom line is, the fact that someone else has gotten theirs before you shouldn't make you worry. After all ukba says 4 to 6 weeks after biometric is when they make their decision.

Good luck everyone, and hang on in there.

The UKBA website is such a pity, still says 12th march. Hopefully they will update it tonight as the last update was on 10th March (night). Usually they update every 2 weeks.

Although there is some relief that some applicants who submitted after 12th march have indeed received their psw visa.

Could anyone help me with regards to this question.
Does your passport and documents come with an ordinary postman or separately via royal mail courier.
Please note that i didn't include a return envelop within my application.

From where did you have the track number?

We can track it using the reference number of the return postage if you have included one with the application.
I have just received my documents and approval letter, now waiting for BRP.
