I applied for a VAF5 application ( which is "supposed" to be an accelerated process") and still haven't heard anything.
EEA Family permits took 60 days in February, but again you're caught up in the busy post wedding period for applying, so it may take longer than that. Whilst VAF5 may be quicker, they're not that much quicker.

What's the point? UKBA have stated on their website it should take up to 12 working weeks, 60 days, but can take up to 120 days, which is near enough 6 months. You've been waiting approx 40 days. Just wait, you'll get your response in due course.

As far as I am aware a VAF5 Family Permit is an accelerated process and should in usual cases not take too long!

An application made under Regulation 12 of The Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2006 - "Issue of EEA Family Permit" and such application should be dealt with priority.

I know that their website states 60 days etcc..
but their website also states in the guidance for EEA VAF5:

" Priority must be given to applications for EEA family permits. Wherever possible a decision should be made at the time it is lodged or after an interview is conducted"

So whats wrong with me putting more pressure on them ?
