What's the point? UKBA have stated on their website it should take up to 12 working weeks, 60 days, but can take up to 120 days, which is near enough 6 months. You've been waiting approx 40 days. Just wait, you'll get your response in due course.

I say everybody waiting email the manager at the ac and say u have contacted the embassy and they have adv its with the application centre and to contact them to get the status changed to collect gerrys are otherwise gonna sit on the applications and send update at their convenience u guys deserve more and shud get swift responses.
Be firm on the email maybe tht would help to get a more prompt reaction from gerrys.

Give him the ref number, DOB, Date applied, and tell him application is in Gerrys lahore as you've been told by islamabad Embassy and they will change your message if emailing from outlook, make sure you attach a Read receipt which will tell you if the manager received email and if he has read it or not.

I check the site almost constantly at work I swear if I not careful gonna get sacked for not doing my work efficiently. I'm considering a change of career thinking of working for gerrys so I can change all ur status to ready for collection.

On a more serious note we shud have some info of the guys who s status has changed, u know before finding this forum I was so stressed it actually helps to talk to people who r in the same situation feel like all u people r my virtual family.

Phew now that's enough of me being senti

how many of you here got a call at work?? im kind of thinking of taking my employer to court and if i dont act on it now it will be too late...so obviously he'll dismiss me...but then when i think about them phoning he will tell them i dont work there just to do me over...
so stressing
