where was your nikkah held, coz mine was held in islamabad and the gerry's people were saying your nikkah nama isnt attested by unioncouncil; but islamabad has no union council.king2be98 wrote:Refused.
Nikah Nama not registered.
Don't nobody say anything else to me.
islamabad doesnt have a union counsil so u have get it attested by CDA (capital development authority), thats where i had mine done from because Gerry's islamabad manger gave me that info!aimsal wrote:where was your nikkah held, coz mine was held in islamabad and the gerry's people were saying your nikkah nama isnt attested by unioncouncil; but islamabad has no union council.king2be98 wrote:Refused.

Please make sure the nikah nama is registered.aimsal wrote:where was your nikkah held, coz mine was held in islamabad and the gerry's people were saying your nikkah nama isnt attested by unioncouncil; but islamabad has no union council.king2be98 wrote:Refused.

they usually dont give u a visit visa if a sttelement one has been refused coz they dont see that u as in ur wife has many ties bk home.king2be98 wrote:I'm weighing up my options now.
Appeal, could be January 2013 before I see my wife if I do that. Visit VISA to the UK, quick response in comparison to settlement applications but only valid for 6 months, headaches after 6 months and very expensive if you keep applying.
Think I'll appeal and go Pakistan twice in this period to stay with my wife since I can afford to do that.
first off the appeal is now submitted in leicester UK not Gerry's, calculate 28 calender days from the day u recieved the refusal thats ur deadline to submit the appeal. u should get your wife to send u a scan of the refusal letter read it carefully to see whats points have been raised.king2be98 wrote:Syma,
Could you explain what process you followed in the appeals procedure?
Did you submit only docoments covering their refusal reasons, or did you submit documents covering everything, ie. new bank statements, new wage slips, cause it's 4 months near enough since the original application.
ur welcome, i just checked on my nikahanama make sure u have the following clearely written in the write places;king2be98 wrote:Thanks Syma,
The refusal reason:
Your nikah nama has not been registered with the Union Council, I therefore conclude that your marriage is not a genuine one and I have rejected your VISA application.
I am speaking to my father in law and my uncle in Pakistan, who will give one serious slating to the Imam and his guys for not registring it officially if it isn't already. Then it's a case of them submitting the correct docs to me.
thats mostly the case, the girls kinda feel it more:(king2be98 wrote:I'll be fine, as you all know I'm a fairly laid back and patient guy, it's my poor wife I'm concerned about.
I'll sort out a holiday plan I'm sure, I can figure something out. But I'm more concerned about this whole appeals process.syma wrote:thats mostly the case, the girls kinda feel it more:(king2be98 wrote:I'll be fine, as you all know I'm a fairly laid back and patient guy, it's my poor wife I'm concerned about.
just a suggestion instead of visiting Pak twice in this scorching heat take ur wife somwhere els like a proper holiday. i love Pk but the relatives neva leave u alone here lol jk
all the appeal process needs is pateince from both of you coz it can take few months.king2be98 wrote:I'll sort out a holiday plan I'm sure, I can figure something out.
