ONLINE BOOKING

I am trying to book online PEO appointment but keep getting the technical error message, as per UKBA website their booking system should be working from yesterday 1000hrs. Am i the only one or other members are having problem too.

Why did they cancel it, is it becuase their system is not working ?

sorry to hear about it, did they give you the new date or you will have to go through the whole process of booking it all over again

I received an email yesterday saying my appointment was cancelled. However closely looking it was one of my previous appointment that I had cancelled, the notification email came two week laters.

I was scared as I got the email but the website still said the appo was active, then I checked the reference number and figured out that email was for old appo that I had cancelled...

I am having the same problem as well. When trying to book an appointment I get following.

We can not complete your appointment booking. This is due to a technical problem. Please try again later.

I wonder when this problem will be fixed?

Hi All,

On UKBA website, they say appointments have been cancelled for today 23rd April-12 but they dont say appointment will be cancelled for tomorow.

I have an appointment for tomorow 24-04-12 and received SMS saying your appointment has been cancelled but does not mention any date.

Did anyone else received this (SMS) message who got appointment after 24-04-12.

Just to check, if there is still any hope for me that if system comes back to life again then I would be able to attend my appointment for tomorow 24-04-12.

Please advise.

online appointment booking website is completely off-line as of 11:45am.

I get following message when browsing to https://apply.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/

The connection has timed out

     
The server at apply.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk is taking too long to respond.

    *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
          moments.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
          that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I wonder when their system will be back online. I strongly suspect their IT department is just a bunch of cow boys. Fixing an minor IT issue shouldn't take that long, but UKBA seems to be hanging on to it for so long.

Try to phone them and book an appointment - or book by a solicitor as I just booked mine by a solicitor - as a matter of urgency.

They would go through my docs and represent me as they do have quotas in Slots.

All of us cannot book online dear. I guess we need to be patient until they announce its back online.

Did you get a recent date through solicitor.
Can you please let us know name/organisation of solicitor , in case we need him in such a time.

Now UKBA says "Apply online service unavailable on 24 April 2012". does not say anything about biometric system. does it mean biometric is resolved now?

Hi,

I got a date for 4th of May from Bhogal Solicitors and Partners. There was a girl named by Farah - 07432 603 606. She seems to me professional and helpful and also not very expensive.

You can give them a call, if you cant find date online or just check if they arrange an appointment you need.
