Hi, Today I went to Croydon office to extend my Tier-1 General visa at 10:15 am. In the main entrance the security people informed me that the biometric systems are very slow and there will be some possible delays. I went through normal process of security checks, fee payment & biometrics, then I was asked to sit until a caseworker calls me. after 15-20 mins caseworker called me to submit all the relevant documents. after checking the documents she told that the systems are very slow & it is very hard to take a decision today. she asked me to give my mobile number & address and replied back that UKBA will review my application today/tomorrow.She told that they will post all my documents by post in couple of days.

My case is straight forward, salaried employee submitted 12 months payslips & bank statements. Case worker verified my net earnings with bank statments and said that looks good. but they cannot make the decision today.

Hope I will get it soon.

When did you visit croydon PEO?what date?

they called me and said my application was successful and asked me whether i can collect documents or else they will send by post.

Are they giving you the visa card straight away as well?

I also submitted the documents at Croydon on the 24th, however, they had took them in only at 17:00.
Perhaps they are still processing...
