Mubarak to all who have got their visas approved.
@ kingtobe: Sorry to hear about your situation. I hope you keep up the spirits man, this time will pass as well, you were very calm so im sure you can do it again.
Regarding the marriage certificate; I only found out that it had to be registered with union council by reading through this forum, thanks goodness I did, because I told my dad he was still back in Pakistan, he checked the urdu nikkah nama and it had the stamp of union council. I insisted he make sure, so he went to the local union council and hey presto they didnt know anything about the nikkah. So they asked my dad to fill in a form. Subsequently they issued us with an english and urdu Marriage Registration certificate issued by the government of Punjab, they told my dad that it now goes online records (NADRA) so the immigration officers can check directly.
My wife submitted the original urdu nikkah nama, with attested english translation and the Marriage Registration Certificate.
Im not sure whether this is what they require, but it may be worth a punt if you havent got it already. All the best with the appeals dude.
