Hi there... I've been doing a bit of reading and it has been quite invaluable, but there's a question I have that doesn't seem to be covered (apologies if it has).
The guide for SET(O) seems to suggest that you only need to provide the most recent payslip and the most recent bank statement prior to application. There is no mention of having to prove a certain income over the last 12 months or 5 years (P60s etc). I completely understand that in terms of evidence, the more the better, but is it actually a requirement and do they usually reject an application on that basis?
I also understand that it is at the discretion of the case worker to ask for more information, but how common is it for them to ask for more than what the guide suggests? If common, why don't they just request it in the guide in the first place?
