i ring them today.i am 2011 applicant lady on phone told me they are dealing with 2010 applicants at the moment.they are very busy busy tto clearing the backload ??

that is what they told me aswell last week that they r very busy and trying their best to clear the backload which hopefully they will be able to clear end of this year or early next year.
fingers cross i am sure most of us will get answers before the end of this year.

i got the same answer in Feb when i rang them they said to me that we are working on 2010 applications.so i guess 2011 applications are untouched forget about them until the 2010 will bot be cleared.but they are still waiting reports from outside agencies in my case.i applies in Feb 2011.if they are waiting reports from outside agencies for my application then how comes i received letter from initial processing team then i should got letter from further processing team.

So once you received a letter from further processing team, you're moving on is it ?

Does anybody know how long it take to get response and date for ceremony after posting the 950?

I think there are too many people calling INIS unnecessarily.

There are folks on this site who call almost every week; that is unnecessary and a distraction to INIS case workers.

To counter those that are "disturbing" them, they tell everybody the same thing we want to hear.

I will SUGGEST that unnecessary calls be avoided, I am not aware of anyone that got a useful response from that team - my personal opinion.

well here is i am confused i rang them 3 times from last nov to till now they have told me each time reports outside agency so its mean further processing tem have to answer my written querry letter why initial processing tem answers me.

It took about two months for mine. Applied end of 2009, approval received end of Jan 2012, returned letter/funds Feb 2012, invite to June ceremony received a fortnight ago.

Just sent both my wife's and my own applications in 30 mins ago via registered post. Was eligible in 2006 but never got around to it. I'll keep updating as things happen here but I don't expect anything soon.

Short history: 12 years in Ireland, 2000 to 2005 on work permits, 2005 to present on IBC 05. Lived at the same address for the past 10 years, never had any social never been unemployed. Couldn't get employment letters from two employers due to them closing down.

Contact to tax office and tell them what year you work for them two companies those are close down and tell them you want letter to show that you worked for them companies they will send u a letter. Which u can send to citizenship office or they will ask you for it later on. I had the same situation wen i send my app

Thanks for that. I sent them payslips, P60's, contracts of employment and a number of other things hoping that would cover it. Just called tax office though and they're sending out the letter so I'll send that through to INIS as soon as I get a reference number.
