Are dependant visa holder able to switch to HSMP

Are dependant visa holder able to switch to HSMP

Hi,

Today I noticed a new thing on FLR(HSMP ) guidance notes. It lists the catagory of visa holders can able to switch to HSMP in country but I coundn't find dependant visa holders in that list.

That means a dependant visa holders can't switch in country?

Any views please?

No you cannot switch from dependent to HSMP visa in-country. You have to travel to your home country to apply for EC on basis of HSMP.
