ILR Applying Online - Urgent

Post by happi.ocholloh » Fri Apr 27, 2012 6:02 pm

Hi the site is not intuitive,

I get to the part on set M about the form. I can download it but there is no next button. So get stuck on the complete by hand page. My questions are.

1. We already booked the appointment can we just pay there at Glasgow and bring the form

or

2. How on earth do you get to the next part of the form?

thanks

Hi,
You need to print the Set(M) form and complete by hand and you can pay on the day at the PEO. Remember to let your bank know before hand that there will be a large transaction if you are paying by card.

I had the same query and realised that Set(M) is not available for completion online.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Char

Please also be aware that at Glasgow PEO you can only pay on the day by debit or credit card, they do not accept any other payment, unless you download a payment form and send this to them at least 6 days before the appointment

Did you have to enter your pin or did they use the details on the form,

Ive forgotten my pin and wasnt worried as I was going to pay online.

Do they take payment over the phone?

sorry, I have no idea how they take it, my appointment is in 4 weeks, and read on the UKBA site that they only take cc/dc payments on the day at both Glasgow & Cardiff, you cant take cheque, postal order or bankers darft, so best to try to find someone who has used d/c on the day, or ring them first...no chance you can get your pin before your appointment?

If I move things around could probably bring cash, but are you saying they will only take debit card or credit card?

yes, thats what it says on the wesite, for these 2 PEO's, they only take the cc/dc form of payment on the day
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/about ... rson/cost/
as the previous poster stated, if you are paying by d/c, don't forget to inform your bank beforehand that you will be making this large transaction
