I really have no idea what might be wrong with my application or why am I waiting so long :(

By the way, congrats to everyone who have received their visas.
Did u try contacting DX and asking if they have a delivery for you ?
I tried about 2-3 weeks ago. Shall I try it again? I thought that I would receive my documents at least, but waiting for them aswell... :(

I got my BRP card on the 25th April and still waiting for my documents. There is no standard for those UKBA on which will be sent first. You better check with DX or call the UKBA again and request (Freedom of information) as your application is set on delay all that much. Best wishes mate!!

What is dx?? :? The only thing I have been checking is my royal mail tracker when I had sent it by special delivery and put a "special delivery" envelope prepaid that they could send back to me.

delay

Post by alifsolutions » Mon Apr 30, 2012 1:56 am

I had thought I am the only one who is waiting. there are hundred of ppl who are waiting
On UKBA site it says for past 3-weeks dealing with applications who gave biometric before or on 12th of March.

I applied on 27th of March.2012 and acknw letter came on 16th of April, So that means my biometric will come sometimes around 10th of May and then decision sometimes around 10th of June, 2012
what rubbish is that :(
Need to complain to Immigration Bureaue under Freedom of Information act 2000
They say 75% applications will be dealt within 28-days .. well that isn't true after reading this website-blogs

DX normally deliver BRP (Visa) and Royal mail deliver Passport and Documents.

If you miss either you can still collect/get your documents re delivered.

Royal mail deliver time

Post by Raptorroz » Mon Apr 30, 2012 9:53 am

Does anyone knows how much time would it take Royal mail to deliver a recorded signed for second class mail?
As you know our documents are sent by the UKBA using a second class mail that needs a signature upon arrival!!!

Though I went through all of this long wait and processes, I may end up back in my home country anyway, but it is always nice to have options!

Thanks to everyone who posted and kept us informed. It made it a lot easier.

All the best to everyone and remember since this route is closing, they are being bombarded with applications. Hope it works out for everyone. 8) :D

timeline + no BRP

Post by anon1234 » Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:58 am

application sent: Jan 25
application received: Jan 27
Biometrics: March 14
Documents: April 17
BRP: April 24 (only my wife and son)

Has anyone encountered a situation where one family member does not get a BRP? We all applied under the same cover and all got an approval letter from UKBA along with the returned documents.

What happens if you travel without a BRP?

Thanks for any advice!

Does BRP come in seperate packages for each applicant? I thought all the BRP's for the main applicant (& dependants) come in a sinle package.Even I have applied with one dependant & I am expecting my Docs/BRP.

No one can say that buddy. But from our recent forum posts by others, i guess processing timeline it is taking approx 4 to 6 weeks after bio metrics given. So by the time of June 1st probably you will get it. Let's hope for the best.

I wouldn't travel without BRP as comming back to the UK will cause issues without a BRP
