Interview Invitation / Job Offer

Post by zia » Wed Jul 28, 2004 7:14 am

Dear Expert

If i have an interview invitation, should it be faxed for urgent treatment or there must a job offer for urgent treatment ?

Actually i applied for jobs and one employer mailed me that if i will get a work permit then i should inform them and i have mailed them to send me an interview invitation. if i got interview invitation then should it be sufficient for urgent treatment. They want to interview in third week of August.

Waiting for Experts Views.

Note: My application was recieved on 28 May and CC was deducted on 1 June. Ref. # is 194**
Thanks in Advance.

Dear Zia,

I think you must have a valid job offer in order to get an urgent treatment. Only interview is not sufficient as interview result can be positve or negative. Anayway please wait for other senior members for a response to your question before doing anything.

Thanks

yes mansoor you are right you got to get a proper job offer mentioning the job title, date of join and validity of offer. interview invitation could probably be rejected.

Very few companies go for tele interview, almost all prefer face to face. Mostly in-country people get the job offer letters. But try try try and you may succeed

Zia,

You need a job offer and Raoms and Mansoor answered it already.

Invitation of an interview is not the confirmation of job.

Afzal

Thanks u Afzal. :)

I have recd this:

Dear Mr Saqib
Thank you for your application. We plan to interview and appoint in the
second/third week of August. If your work permit is received before then,
please let us know.
Kind regards
