Woow that is impressive! is it because your employer rang them to enquirer about it?

I am happy for you and att he same time jealous! lol

Did you apply as married? do you have kids? how long have you been married for before you sent off your application and what is your nationality??

sorry for all this questions, I rang them a few days ago but the lady refused to give any update on my application.

:(
Thanks Aluter. I hope yours comes soon!

I think it helped that my employer contacted them (I believe they wrote a long email). My employer's concern was that my COA did not give me the right to work, and my visa did not last for the entire 6 months that they could have taken to process my RC. My RC is dated 11 April. My employer contacted HO around 6 April. But HO waited until the 24th to inform my employer that a decision had been made. Not sure why the two week delay since they'd already issued the RC.

I applied as unmarried partner, no kids, NZ passport. I have been living with my boyfriend for nearly 3 years - 1.5 years in UK and the rest of that time in another EU country.

Hope this helps! Good luck!!
Thank you for the reply. it is nice that to know that they actually can process applications fast!.

Hope there is good news for the rest of us next week.

Aluter just to add to your findings, in my own Opinion I think they HO also makes their decisions very very easy and soft on Non-visa Nationals, does that make Sense at all?

I don't agree- these ongoing insinuations are starting to smack of something not nice.

We're a simple case, non-visa national, every box ticked-- still no coa !

guess some people are just luckier than others.

99% of the moaners on this site received their coa's within 2-3 weeks, and are moaning because they are nearing 3-4 months in a 6 month process...

prejudice and alluding to beloved (some previous posters) just doesn't stick anymore guys- try another angle or shut up

--delivered 20/2
--coa ??

Really? what exactly were you trying to say?- do you have facts to support your statement or some inside information no-one else is privy to?

We have just posted my EEA3 application and my husband's and his daughter's EEA2 applications on April 20th. I will keep everyone updated on what happens next. I requested the CoA immediately in the cover letter so I will let everyone know when we get that too :)

no one going to read your cover letter before the day they issue for you CoA letter.

Could it be that I requested it too soon? Or that my partner's visa expired beginning of April? (We married on 1 MAR 2012 so he is still legally allowed to be here)
CondorVilla, Pls try and call HO on phone, hope this time they will respond to your request. All the best
I am livid. Still not passport. I called on Monday to speak to someone and requested it, she said I would get it by Friday. Friday I called again because we didn't receive the passports, after 15 minutes on hold spoke to someone who told me that the request for the passport is on the computer but it appears it hasn't been sent out yet. She also told me that she couldn't do anything because the request was less than 5 days old (apparently they never processed the THREE emails I sent requesting the passports) and to call back on Monday.

To add insult to injury, she told me my application was only put into the system on April 16, a month after I sent it, and that my partner should expect his COA in a few weeks...

I have my only remaining grandmother in the hospital, all alone, for a month now, and UKBA won't give me my passport! I am so frustrated I am in tears. Does anyone have any advice on who else to contact? If I don't have good news tomorrow when I call, I am thinking of contacting my MP but I'm not sure if that will do any good?

Sorry to vent but I am so angry right now...

Happy for you, really. But gutted. Simply gutted by the fact that there does not seem to be any logic or fairness. The latter being the least we could expect.

Tell me about it, The fact is non visa nationals are taking an extremely long time. Im not insinuating beloved but its hard not to feel dissapointed by the lack of fairness
