HSMP English Requirement -Only BA in English not MA/higher?

Post by mcu » Sat Nov 18, 2006 9:38 am

Hi
I have a come across workpermit.com website and they say Bachelor degree must be taught in English (not a Masters degree or PhD). I was wondering what about those whose master degree is equivalent to UK bachelor degree and they have not done their own BA in English?
Can some comment please?

Regards
mcu

Good point, you should submit both degrees, so the BA says you were taught in english ( english language requiremnet,
and MA will be considered for your degree equivalent ..

Hi,
I asked HSMP team about english requirement. It seems they are kidding? Please comment on that.

Dear Applicant

Thank you for your email. The guidelines says that a Bachelors Degree
equivalent to a British. A British bachelors is 3 years. Otherwise you
will have to sit the English test.

Regards

hsmp team

criteria. The guidance notes about HSMP say that if applicant is not providing
IELTS certificate then he must provide evidance that Bachelor degree is
taught in English. My question is that I have done master degree which
is equivent to Bachelor degree of UK. If I apply, should I provide
evidance of my Master degree was taught in English? Do I have to provide
any evidance of my Bachelor degree as well?
