wel the only thing i can think of is the last batch of applications which got sent back from the embassy their visa's were stamped few weeks before the people actually got their passports back!!

but at the moment the applications which are under process are definately taking more than 41 days??

60 working days for me today!!

As soon as the passports get sent back, Gerry's just dont contact us straight away to tell us to that it is ready for collection, in fact they will leave the passprts lying around for a few weeks then start ringing people.

I mean how hard is it to pick up the phone and ring the applicants that the passports are ready for collection and to come pick them up.

Maybe we need to talk to those responsible and tell them right our passport was stamped on this day, and why didnt we recieve a call earlier? What exactly is your job role? lol

i think those that got those passports.. should complain to gerrys so it doesnt happen in the future.. its soo bad of them to do that when people are stressing on what is happening..

i emailed BHC from my email address on behalf of my hubby asking for an update. i got the reply that bcoz im the sponser they cant update me due to data protection. as my hubby isnt much familiar with email with his permission i emailed them from his email address. do u guys think they will email back with an update now. im kinda scared in case they find out its me emailing them. have any of you's emailed and got a response??

dont worry i emailed them from my email and they told me they cant tell me anything as im the sponsor..then i emailed them from my hubby account and they messeged him back...funny thing is though my hubby email address is not on his name..and they wrote it to the name on the email address although they had all my hubbys details infront of them lol...

then i got my mp to email them and he got a response from them within an hour!!!!

Exactly but this problem has been going on for so many years, I am surprised if no one has complained, they need to know that they put us under uneccessary stress.

Maybe they dont care and dont take heed from these complaints.

I am in azad Kashmir at present and my wife submitted her application at mirpur on the 24 th of April, she received a text message the same evening that Herr application has been sent of.

I was worried at first, but now I am not lol , keep us in your duas , you are in mine

i have been viewing comments from last 2 months or so. i m sorry for this mre2012. we 've been waiting peacefully as it's not in our hands. why should we email or phone to the high commission or abu dhabi. they gave us a time frame that they 'll give our passports back in 60 working days. why u r making ppl rush into it. we are telling each other to be patient but if sombody just comes in & start complaining about BHC is not fair. if u 've got any problems with them then u can call them & u r more than welcome to send them email. but plz plz don't advise us to contact BHC as they 'll take their time. all i can say is that be patient & pray for urself & for us. MAY ALLAH BLESS U.

Gohar is right wait 60 working days before u start contacting anyone!! thats the time frame u r given! they not gona giv u any proper response to ur e-mails until u have past ur 60 day mark!! they wil just tel u that they are currently processing applications within 12 working weeks which is 60 working days.

from what ive heard is that when they do ring the switchboard they just cut the phone off the second you mention 'visa' so i doubt if anyone has ever got through to someone else...but i could be wrong

my husband contacted bhc to tell them his tb has expired and if they require and what needs to be done.the moment he said I've applied for my visa,they cut him off.
he then emailed them to tell them about the tb situation and after 5 days they sent a standard email of please allow 12 weeks for your application to be processed. currently it is still going through checks.

bhc will only it in ther own time,even if you email to enquire.they won't give the correct response.

You have nothing to worry about. You have sent a recent TB test, provided it didn't expire before application, even then it's minor. He will of course need to do another one before the trip to the UK.

i am not rushing people i am just asking why bring out a statement if it is not in practice or correct.

i will e-mail them soon if nothing happens by 60 working days... Also the 60 days should that be when we should have the passport back in hand or when they are called for collection or at AC?

thanx king I was getting really worried over it.another thing im worried about is that my p60 is in a different address as I was renting at the time and now I've applied at my fathers address with an affidavit on behalf of my father and all the correct sponsorship forms. will it be an issue that the p60 is in a different address. also at the Time I had only worked at that place for a 3weeks and had been given my p60,so there is only income showing for them 3 weeks.

I then started at a different work place 6months later,in order to apply for my husbands visa and have received the p60 for that this April,after I had submitted the visa.so will that be a problem,the fact that it's showing 3weeks income and different address on the p60??

Was that directed at me? I didnt say anything off the sort, we were just talking about them in general. Many people got a reply OVER 60days and all everyonr has done is been patient. Its not a matter off waiting 60days, it is a matter off how long they take to contact the applicant that the passprt is ready and then when they go the passport has been stamped 3-4weeks before. Get me?

We are humans afterall, we all whinge and moan time to time thats what makes us human.

We all motivate eachother on here to have sabr but I agree with you, theres no point contacting them and I wouldnt even put that suggestion forward anyways unless you're way OVER 65-70days
