Please could you tell us what is your decision (application) date?
And how you have received both at once? I mean within the same delivery? or different?
Thanks In advance

Acknowledgment letter received: 4th Feb (dated 30th Jan)
Biometric invitation received: 12th March (dated 8th March)
Biometric submitted: 13th March (Old Street PO, London)

Raptorroz wrote:Congrats for the good news. so happy for you.. I will leave this country on 6/5, all booked and good to go :D finally.
About your documents, you should expect them within this week as well, after all, the hard part of waiting is over. :)
beeth_ven wrote:Thanks moirareggie for offering your help! I think my desperation finally made its point with the UKBA and DX couriers and I FINALLY have some good news to share! :) So guys, I received my BRP yesterday evening around 6pm (sorry for the late update) and now waiting anxiously for my documents...keeping fingers crossed!

Documents: Still waiting....

So you see guys, it took almost HUNDRED days for my BRP to arrive !! This kind of delay seriously kills you! :x But thanks to my fellow forum contributors, I received a lot of support and guidance. So now keeping fingers crossed for my documents and I hope everyone's wait comes to an end soon :)

The problem is that now I don't have enough calling credits to call up UKBA or DX couriers as it was all spent on chasing them for my documents :( I can't even get out of the house as I have to wait for the DX delivery the whole day!! It is still not here but I have to still wait.... If someone could kindly help me out, could you please call the UKBA and DX couriers on my behalf? I can email you my details.

Can anyone suggest waiting time after biometric?
like their site says, 4-6 weeks. mine took a total of 80 days from application to documents, others took 106 days. so you can use that as a guide

Another day passes by and yet no response from Home Office!
Seems like yesterday all the staffs went to vote and didn't work at all. I hope today they are not discussing the result of election whole day. Coming monday is a bank holiday and I am afraid won't get anything. God knows when we will get our things back!

FINALLY, the wait is over!

Post by new_beginnings » Fri May 04, 2012 11:15 pm

This forum has been a huge help and now I want to return the favour. So, here's my timeline:

Application sent: 01/02/2012
Application received: 02/02/12
Biometric letter received: 15/03/12 (dated 12/03/12 I think)
Biometric given: 19/03/12
BRP: 27/04/12
Passport and documents: 02/05/12

Definitely check with DX if you have a delivery, that's how I found out about mine. Good luck to everyone who's waiting to hear from the UKBA.
