Week by week it is getting more slower, this whole week they cleared applicants done bio metric between 17 to 19 wtf? What are they? I did my biometric on 28th I feel like in hell.

I have done my biometrics on the 4th of April. I wonder how long they are going to take to process my application. The wait is killing me! There are people who have done their biometrics way earlier than and still havent received any reply from UKBA, I understand their plight. I hope they process the backlog asap.

I did on 28th march and damn im still waiting and I feel its the next week that i am expecting to get but there are many between 20 and 28 who still have no news so i dun think there will be any good news but i just hope for some good news. want to go back home and never come again here...my india was thousand times better than UK. why din i realize this before

completely agree with Kashyapgada.

I applied and got my student visa in 8 days in new Delhi, India in 2010..My friends applied for their PSW from india this year after me and they already got their psw and documents back. and i am a fool who applied it from here in feburary and is still waiting..
strange because here we use all the documents issued in this country by their banks and universities and still they take so long to verify and process it. and charge 594 pounds for such bad service.
should have gone back home instead and applied from there..
missed so many important events back home just because of this PSW..and my brother is leaving for america on 15 May, and if i dont get my visa by next week, then i am going to miss that as well..this whole system is so irritating..i am just fed up of everything..
the day i get my docs back,,I am leaving this country and never coming back again..

I literally got my documents a few minutes after posting my last update. Unfortunately my laptop crashed before I could post so I am using a friends' to update you guys.

Guys have you noted that they processed Biometric done on 23rd ? So they are processing application based on their biometric letter date. Moirareggie received letter dated 10th March but enrolled on 23rd that's why he got it earlier. what do you guys think ?

Don't worry buddy, compare it with other biometric invitation letter date anyhow you'll get by next week for 90%. Pity on me my biometric letter dated 21st way to go f UKBA. Keep us posted, cheers.

Hello friends.
I have been following this discussion board and have come to this conclusion:

It was taking around 4-6 weeks to get your BRP/Docs after enrolling your biometric last month..

But, due to unknown reasons this time period has been prolonged by a week. summarizing from last weeks posts, i can say that UKBA only processed application who did their Biometric between 16-19 march last week and they have got their visas.

According to my calculation, now its taking around 6-7 weeks to get your BRP/Docs from the date of your biometric enrollment.

And if UKBA process applications in a sequence then the next lot of applications to be processed is the one with biometric enrollment from 20-26 March(including me as i did mine on 26 march).

All those who did their biometric from 20-26 march please keep us posted with any updates.

The reasons are not 'unknown' the psw category closed and therefore there was a surge in applications before the closure date. Processing times are therefore longer.

You mean 19th March?? Cause I did my biometrics on 14 Apr and am pretty sure that I still have a long wait ahead of me!
