Hi apsaps

Your docs checklist looks fine to me mate. If you're on WP status before your T1 G then I would highly advice you to take letter from the employer just use the format from the sticky and customize it according to your self and get it signed from your employer.

So far the question of April Bank statement is concerned I would highly recommend you that do take your April Bank Statement along with your other docs, just dont leave no option for the CW to say a single word to you other wise you know the CW are really stupid and they might come up with the reason that oh your bank statements are more than a month old because of their lack of knowledge so keeping this in mind I am advicing you to take your Apri 12 bank statement as well.

Just be very confindent mate that's all I can think about the fact that you're alive and happy before getting the ILR and you'll remain alive and happy after getting it so just take it as an ordinary thing coming to you that's all I can say and advice you as a well wisher. Just think that the people who works at UKBA are just normal human beings like us probably some of them are a bit less clever than u probably.

Please do kindly share your PEO experience on the forum.

Good luck for your ILR.

Hi apsaps, as Smam suggested. Your list looks perfectly fine. make sure to take the photocopies of at least these as my CW asked for them:

• Your current and old passport (if any)
• Your wife’s current and old passport (if any)
• LiUK Test Certificates
• Cohabitation Documents
• All your and your dependant visas

Good luck for your ILR and don’t worry, you will be fine !

apsaps: I took a standard employment letter with me and a spread sheet of income on employer letter head, but case worker never asked for any of those.

You can take all letters with you, but you don’t need to provide them until asked. (as some case workers ask for these but they are not mandatory requirement).

Also if you absences are less than 180, then you don’t really need to provide any justification for them.

To cover that period, you can bring the original WP letter with you. I don't think so you need any other letter.

If your absences can’t fit on the area in SET(O) form, then you can provide a separate spread sheet, but if they fit easily in the form then you don’t need a separate sheet (as you are within the allowed threshold of 180 days).

apsaps, this letter isn't stated as a requirement, but there are few forum members who have submitted one with their ILR application just to make it easier for the Case Worker when it comes to verification. Technically speaking they should be able to do this using your payslips/P60 & Work Permit, but there have been cases where the case worker has said they need to confirm that you were working for them under the Work Permit during the time you say you have - resulting in a delay in processing the application. I plan to submit one with mine when I apply (WP+Tier1) next year as well... It will just confirm that I worked for my Employer under WP No. during the specified time period.

But I am carrying my Original work permit along and it has all the details and also 2007/08 P60.

My employer will now think why do I need to many letters :)

Already taken : salary claimed letter , out of uk letter , employer letter indicating earnings for 2011/12 as alternative to P60.

If you say that's something i should carry , than I can try OR if attested salary slips for the time duration when I was on work permit could be of any help ( just to be on safer side)

Please advise

Thanks

apsaps, if you have already got a letter from your Employer confirming that you were working for them with start date you should be fine. Just seeing your sample letter above, it states the dates (& you are still with the same employer) so I personally don't see a problem with what you have, just take P60's for all years in case the CW asks for them.

Good luck with your application and let us know how it goes next week!

Good luck for your appointment on the 16th!

I was just wondering if you can tell me what the self assessment calculator is that you mention you are taking as part of your evidence.

Thank you!

that's the one which is there in UKBA website - it's not specifically for ILR but I did cacluated like we did for Tier 1 extension.

It highlights the points I achieve in total.
