Dude you must contact HO. As per my info almost everyone who applied in jan have already got it, atleast BRP or Passport one of these. One reson of your delay can be that you submitted the biometrics on 21 march, almost same time as me, i submitted on 23 march, so you can try your luck either for this week and next week.

All the best
I have submitted biometrics on 20th March and still waiting

Delays

Post by alinawaz » Thu May 10, 2012 1:56 pm

I think we are just few people on this forum...who have become frustrated due to our own reasons...I agree there is delay in the PSW processing time due to closure of PSW...but still there are not too many people who are following this forum...otherwise there would have been lot lot more people...So, we can say that lot of people must have been receiving their documents/ passports :)

See that is the problem we don't know whats happening. What If we don't have this forum ? Think about it that's where UKBA sucks. But to be optimistic I do hope that there must be a lot who did received and not following this forum.

Processing time.

Post by kapil250 » Thu May 10, 2012 3:05 pm

Friends, there is something which i have noticed and would like to share.

I was searching the internet a few days ago, somewhere in march for UKBA, and i came across yahoo answers. There a guy said that that he works for UKBA and told that UKBA posts letters twice a week. on Monday and on Thursday.
Also from my own experience, I can say this is true to some extent because i received both my acknowledgement and biometric on Saturday. also, both of them were dated and posted on Thursday.
I clearly remember my Biometric was dated 22 March and i received it On 24 march, and did my biometric on 26 march.

The point which i am trying to make here is that most of the people who did their biometric around 20 march, will hopefully get some good news by this weekend. because this Monday (7 may) was a bank holiday. and maybe that's why UKBA has not posted any letters on Monday but will probably do it today. Just saying from my experience and knowledge, please don't blame me if you don't.
Good Luck to all.

I received my letter on 24th dated 21st of march Guys one thing there is no pattern among their processes. I guess even they don't have proper system to handle application like order processing, human resource , document managing system and so on.

That is the main reason for our delay, management or an agency should have proper system to handle uncertainty because this is not an ordinary customer service, we are highly skilled migrants who spent millions on our currency to come here.

Maybe i am wrong mate. . Also, that guy on yahoo answers said that UKBA posts letters on Monday and Thursday. Now i can't really say what he exactly meant by it. But maybe, what he was trying to to say was that these people process application and post them all together on Monday and Thursday. like they process applications from Mon-Wed and post them all together on Thursday and vice versa.. Just elaborating on what that person said from my understanding.
I will be more than happy to be proved wrong here coz if they post application daily, that means we all will get replies faster.

Home office get me into trouble. As I have referred to its service quality standard which state 75% application can be completed in 4 weeks time, I have arranged a wedding ceremony dated on 9th June in my country (hotels, flights, cameraman, make up artists, everything has been arranged~!). It already been 9 weeks but nothing has been heard from home office. What should I do if it cannot be done before 9th June?? over 500 attendees have been invited, very depressed right now!!!

OK guys, here's the news!

Got my BRP card today with issue date 05-05-2012.
I have posted timeline in my earlier postings.

@Kapil250 :your research about the dispatch days of parcels from UKBA seems true buddy! Or might be a coincidence! Whatever it is half of my stress is down now just waiting for my PP and other documents so that I can say bye bye to this country!!!

All the best to you guys who are waiting and those who applied in February first week and did biometrics in the week commencing 19th March, get ready!

Really you are in big trouble, I can imagine the kind of thoughts that emerge against UKBA and its service standards. I know some of my fr'ds who applied on 17 feb, and did biometrics with me on 23 march, they still havn't got yet, some have already lost the hope of getting before 20 of this month and some expecting by the end of this month. its really a depressing situation bcoz we all have some kind of important work back in country, its not simply about meeting family which u can delay for 1 more month and this leads to anguish against UKBA by many of my known fr'ds and this forum persons also, UKBA is doing the process really slowly, one of my fr'ds from Nigeria studying along with me in same univ called them 2 days back, he submitted his application on 17 feb still got nothing, the lady on telephone replied and told him, not to call unless the waiting time is more than 6 months, its really ridiculous and rude also.
