Summer School Visa

Hello everyone,

I am planning to go for LSE summer school. The course is of around 3 weeks duration. My queries are

1. Has anyone got rejected for the student visitor visa?

2. Since the course is for 3 weeks, I will be applying for Student visitor visa (valid for 6 months). Is it possible that Visa office might give me visa for less than 6 months (eg 3 months)?

3. In the application form, I have to mention my intended date of departure from UK. I am not sure of the date because after my course I plan to travel to Scotland and other parts of UK as tourist. Should I leave the date blank?Will this affect my visa tenure or processing?

Hi Techsavvy, I know this is an old post, but what happened with your visa?? Did they allow you to stay for the full 6 months??

Yes, they gave me visa for about 5 months
