Please can anyone tell if what BMP is being issued now. I have given my biometrics on the 22nd of march and I haven't heard anything. Please help

Hi, you can call UKBA Sheffield customer care centre and in the automated service there is an option of return of document. It will put you through to an advisor who will ask for you application reference number and will process it for you.

Biometric invitation received: 24th April 2012 (Dated:21st April 2012)
Biometrics done:24th April 2012 (Southwark P.O.)


As I know if I want to get back my passport I have to withdraw from the application, does anyone know how to do it? And how long it takes to get back my passport?

ok, thanks for that. but, you kno what... theu consider applications based on bio metric letters... so, should it take aug for me... because they deal with mar 19th appns as of now..

if they do my file by aug its very bad man.. its un fair..

well i applied on feb 1 and received my biometric on 23 March after 53 days whereas one of my friends received her biometric letter within 15 days and she applied after 20 march

Its simply not fair i have refused 4 job offers and will have to refuse another this week as the company has already waited 4 weeks for me I can t really blame them but can only curse UKBA.

Go to your corresponding bank where you've ordered for bankers draft and request a paper statement confirmation of dd clearence.

Normally, it takes 10 working days in Nat west and i am not sure with other banks. You can tell them to take your address and post it to you once it's done

I want to reach India ASAP I can't rely on Visa, do I need to call UKBA or if anybody knows anything about emergency travel document. It would be a real help if you guys can suggest something. You've to prove them with a strong paper document (from the concern hospital) that your dad is hospitalized......

If they agree to it and then they might consider giving you emergency travel document. But, having said that i dont really know whether will they react to this due to heavy baglog of applications they're dealing with. They're experiencing very high demand for thier services and as per information they've called in more employees from all major airports to review psw applications and that is why there is a big queue in airport immigration counters..

If you want withdrawal your application It will take about 2 weeks but your case is emergency I suggest call ukba 0870 606 7766.

Thanks for your reply Mate, I can't show any documents here because he is hospitalised and all the reports are their with him only. I can ask my parents to send scan copy of them. How do I contact UKBA about it or do I need to contact Indian Embassy.

Are you in London. If so, go direct to the Croyden Office as soon as you receive the documents. On addition, type a letter in a4 stating your reasons and have in handy before you meet them. If possible, have a copy of all the docs that you're about to submit them. Because, they're such a lazy p*igs, trust me, they can even loose your docs due to high volume of applications.

Or if you can't make it to any of their Offices, better call them during the mid afternoons. Hope, they pick up ( they usually dont in the mornings and you'll loose loads of money for the phone call by calling that '08' number). My advise is call from BT landline.

Thanks mate, I wil give them a call. I don't think withdrawl of application would be a best option as I have waited almost 3 months now but looking into emergency at my home, I am not sure what should I do. If I won't get any appropriate answer over the phone which is expected from UKBA, will go to Indian embassy tomorrow. I am so confused don't know what to do. Let me see what happens I am calling UKBA.
