Need clarification. Travelling to Turkey

Post by nikzgfx » Mon May 14, 2012 8:00 pm

Hello all,

My cousin she is married to a UK citizen, she has a UK Spouse Visa which is valid until Feb 2013 she's of Indian nationality.

She want's to travel with her husband to Turkey. I've been reading up and just need clarification.

Can she travel to Turkey, will be going to Dalaman/Marmaris area and get a VOA?

Also, they are considering maybe Portugal but she needs a Schengen visa and there is no official website for the Portuguese embassy.

This is all getting confusing.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks :D

http://www.mfa.gov.tr/visa-information- ... ers.en.mfa
India: Diplomatic passport holders are exempt from visa for their travels to Turkey up to 90 days. Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders with a valid Schengen or OECD member's visa or residence permit may get their one month single entry visas at the Turkish border gates upon their arrival.
UK is OECD member's so you can get visa on the border up to 30 days.
