How much Savings do you need-Spouse Visa-

Nobody within the DS will answer this, but I'm sure there must be some kind of rough amount-has anyone gone to apply for a spouse visa with less than £1000 savings-what were your circumstances and were you successful? Anyone been successful with more? My salary is £15,000 and I have about £3,500 savings but I rent I don't have a mortgage-anyone in a similar situation applied? I would be most grateful! x
