Passport ready to collect!

Post by pepa » Wed May 16, 2012 6:51 pm

Applied for my husbands settlement visa 27th March after been refused in November!

Have'nt heard anything from UKBA no phoncalls to confirm anything or requests for more information! My husband got a phonecall this afternoon from the Embassy in Albania just telling him to go tomorrow to coleect his passport!

Is anyone or has anyone gone through a similar situation and what was the outcome???

Thank x

Nope tahts it book those flights and get him over, couple of things that might help though,

- Good idea to get a chest x-ray done (Which country is he coming from?)
- There is a page and topic somewhere here on teh forum about questions they might ask at the airport when he arrives in the UK, things like your DOB, Address, where you work, when you got married and things like that.
- There are probably some ceryain documents he needs to carry with him when he flies, again there is page and topis somewhere on this form about that
- Also what might help, does he have a Driving Licence where he is now? If so get that into a internation licence as with that he can drive here for one year.
- Get a nice weekend away booked so you both get some nice alone time.... :D
