Hey guys,

Thanks very much.

They did not return my student visa that expires end of next year, wondering if i can ask for it back because I would rather not have this worry about entering back to the UK when i have to travel alone or with my friends.

Don't know if it is allowed to have more than 1 visa for the same country at a time.

You are allowed to have a student visa and RC at the same time although the HO might have decided to curtail your visa. But why would you worry travelling alone? With the RC, you don't need to travel with the EEA national every time.

hi
mine came back in a recorded delivery envelope, but I never had to sign for it the post man just put it through the letterbox. It came in a large white envelope. I never included a return envelope with my application.

I tried that as well. Last week Friday. Unfortunately I spoke to a rude lady who was not very helpful. The only info she was willing to give is that my email was passed on to the team. That's it. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow I will probably give it another try.

Today it is 5 months ago I submitted my application. No sign of life from Liverpool.

Luckily the sun shines today.

I agree I think they are meant to be that rude to end the conversation as soon as possible, maybe due to the amount of calls they get but no matter what time I call I always have to wait 12 mins atleast. I am lead to believe that they are asked to wait 10 mins before answering calls to deter the caller

Its really devious if true but that's what it seems

It all goes back to the lack of communication that I keep talking about, its infuriating really

Hi guys! My package has been sent out last Thursday yet we still haven't received anything - my solicitor said last Friday that it should come yesterday.

Been tracking it like a crazy person but since it's sent only using "recorded signed for" that doesn't give me too much as the only progress it will show is that it's been received and signed. I called royal mail as well but was told the same. Pretty pointless.

How long should this take? Anyone has an idea?

That's what the lady I spoke to said and she provided me with the tracking number when I called them last Friday.
