FLR(M) for my wife..plzz help

Hello,

I am about to apply for FLR(M) for my wife. She has a bachelors degree from India. As for as English Language requirement is concerned i am confused as what evidence she need to produce at home office. is UK NARIC assessment absolutely necessary? I have contacted them for English language assessment but they said they need letter from university that the medium of course communication was in English . Getting a letter from the University in India is gonna take some time and the Naric confirmation letter will take atleast 10-15 days. Her Visa expires on 12-june 2012.

Can some one plz suggest me what to do,,is there any other alternative.

If this process is not done in time, Can she apply for FLR(M) outside of UK?

"Leave to remain" can only be applied for from within UK.
From outside UK, she will apply for "leave to enter".
