Answer to criminal conviction question E1

E1. Has the applicant had any criminal convictions in the United Kingdom or any other country (including traffic offences) or any civil judgments made against them?

I am applying for Tier 1 General extension. I got an SP30 speeding ticket in March 2006. In my previous applications (Tier 1 PSW and Initial Tier 1 General) I declared it. Now that more than 6 years has passed can I definitely say "No" in answer to the above question? My doubt comes from the way it is asked (i.e. Has the applicant had any...) and the fact that previously I said "Yes" to that question. I would really appreciate senior members' comment on this.

If the linked topic hasn't helped you come to a conclusion regarding a "speeding ticket", then perhaps reading the form carefully may help.
e.g. - Note 1, page 25.

thanks man, i filled the form as a first trial but I did not see that note 1

it is indeed stressful time for me and am looking for some assurance really. I am taking it as I can say "No" to the question.

You don't have to declare it but ask yourself a question what is the harm in declaring this on your form?
