no tax sysytem --HSMP applicant

Post by sudhirg » Tue Dec 05, 2006 5:11 pm

For the conutry where there is no tax system ( Bahrain)

I am showing my salary slips(stamped and signed--not on letter head but on A-4 sheet) and salary certificate(signed--on letter head)

How necessary is it show bank statements?

Or the above 2 mentioned evidences will be enough for me to claim points under the pat earnings?

Regards

Hi,

According to the guidelines, you are fine. The guidelines state that you need 2 of the 3 proofs,
- Salary slips
- Bank statements
- Employer certificate

The only concern I had with your situation was the fact that bank statements would be an additional evidence to the case workers just in case! Having said that, your 2 proofs out of 3 are quite OK.

Paramjit,

Bank statements are not mandatory. Questions 37 to 38 on page 7 on the HSMP form along with the guidelines for a country with no tax system clearly specifies that one needs only two of the three evidences...Bank statements, IT return and Wage slips.

Regards.

Yeah u r rite...

But still i would advice to go for three..if they are showing same amounts...so that case worker dont go for verification phase...

Thanks for your views.

The problem is that I never got salary in bank. I was given cash( due to some reasons). So I have to submit the other 2 evidences which are , salary slips, salary certificate.
Lets hope casewroker accepts it and dones not create a hassle.
As it says 2 out of the 3 evidence are only required.

Well honestly, I don't think its a good idea as I am not asking for exceptional consideration. When they say 2 out of 3 evidences, they should accept 2.
Reason is that, If i say i received in cash, they would raise thier eye brows further and enquire why was that so?

Whom should I ask as a query? If I write a email to the HSMP team, all they do is they reply with a pre set general FAQ sheet. They don't answer to the question?

If you have any other way, do let me know.

And to call them up, every one has thier own view.

Sudhirg there s no need to attach bank statement, u can proceed with out tht, your other documents are sufficient and no need to ask frm HO when they ve written everything n the case guide.

Paramjit bank statement is optional, no need of tht, there s no doubt left when it s clearly written in the case guide.

Wish u gud Luck.

hey thanks for the affirmative view.
I agree its explicitly written two out of three evidence.

Hey is it necessary the salary slips to be on letter head?

I also dont say it is necessary, but i was suggesting for making it more concrete...Sal and emp cert are both from employer, there is nothing external resource whom they can match ur records..so i suggested...

Still lets keep fingers crossed and hope for positive result for all...

Its not mandatory for sal slip to be om letter head, but if it is not, get it stamped and signed from the employer.

ya paramjit, i agree with your view, that if bank statement is there, an external source is there to match the records.

As of me, I am submitting, 12 salary slips not on letter head so stamped and signed. And salary certificate from employer.

Can you send me a salary certificate format?

Same Boat

Post by zap » Sat Dec 09, 2006 8:05 am

HI,

I am also sailing in the same boat,,I mean from country with NO TAX,,
UAE,,,I am planning to apply with sal cert.and sal slips where cert.will
be on letterhead and slips will be on plain,,with stamps and sign,,,
I cannot submit bank statements as I don't get salary sometimes through
bank or cash,,,,
I don't think this will matter since they have published very clearly to
supply 2 of 3
