Dear all,

I am applying ILR in jan 2013, i got three points FPN due to not follow the traffic sign which i paid on time. I applied the extension last year and mentioned this on my application. The case working make special note on my approval letter saying UKBA consider all type of FPN as conviction and i must have to declare this in my future application.

I am not sure if points spent in three years or five years ? will i be ok in my ILR ?

I believe you'll get your ILR despite of your conviction. Reason being, only court deals with matters relating to driving without insurance, driving without licence etc. Traffic officers can't give penalties in these cases therefore a fine is only given by court. You should be ok with your ILR application.
But disclose it in your application.

I also applied my ILR on 11th April with traffic offence CU80 i.e using mobile whilst driving. The decision was not given on the same day due to IT issues. But I'll let you know the outcome.

Regards
hi have you got your ILR please cofnirm as it is really helpfull to deside what we gone get it.

ILR,Court fine and FEW EXTRA DAYS TO COMPLETE 5 YRS CONVICTI

Post by feedback556 » Mon Sep 10, 2012 10:08 am

Hi Gurus, I have a query slightly on similar lines-ILR and court fine.
My first Tier 1 application was granted on 5th Mar 2008 and the extension was granted on 19th Feb 2010. My ILR is due in Feb 2013 now. However, I have a court fine issued on 17TH Mar 2008.

Would I be able to apply for ILR or owuld I need to take another extension and then ILR. MY court fine was around 600 pounds for travelling on tube without fare. Can you please advise if I apply on for eg. 12th Feb 2013, would they consider my 5 years being completed for conviction ?

I did look up for such cases on forum, however could not find one where someone's conviction was given just a few days after the first application.

Appreciate your help.THanks.
