Dependant Visa / India

Post by SAPIENT » Mon May 28, 2012 9:20 pm

Dear Friends,

I hold a valid tier1 visa and currently work in england.
I got recently married and now applying for the dependent visa in India.

(a) where can i find the application form for tier1 dependent - is it online application with appointment in india?

(b) what are the list of documents to submit for tier1 dependent - especially if my wife is a B.Com holder from an unrecognised university?

many thanks and apologies if this is a repeated question.

Your wife education doesn't matter.

1) Your Tier-1 approval letter.
2) Marriage certificate
3) Marriage pictures
4) Maintenance funds (as per policy)

more documents to proof relationship sustains
1) Wedding cards
2) Wedding pictures
3) Honeymoon pictures, tickets, hotel bookings.
4) Your travel ticket for marriage...

My wife is applying for tier1 dependent category and we are stuck in section 6/7 of online application.

Section 7 asks for wife's working status and any dependents for her.
Is this the correct interpretation

In other words do we have a guide to online application please

Many thanks

I have managed to sort most of the documents required for the tier1 dependent visa.

However, does anyone have the cover letter formats for both main applicant ( sponsor) and the dependent, please.

many thanks

Changes to Online Application

Post by SAPIENT » Fri Jun 01, 2012 9:18 pm

Friends,

I realised few minor mistakes while submitting the online application.

It is not allowing / showing any options to change the application form.

Should I restart the procedure with a new application?

many thanks,
Sapient
