Query on 2nd Ext beofre ILR

Hello mods,

I will be completing my 5 yrs residency periods in Oct 2012 but their was a single stay outside UK for 175 days which was for business purpose in the year 2008-2009 before the rule of 90days.

Now I am planning to get 2nd Tier1 extension to cover before applying for ILR.

i have question that If becoz of any reason my extension application is denied will it impact my current leave to remain in the country,

For eg. my current Tier 1 expires on Feb 2013
I wish to get 2nd extension in Oct 2012 in Person

If my application for 2nd extension is refused can i re-apply and will be allowed to stay in country till Feb 2013.

No.

Under current rules, you may apply for as many extensions as you wish to.
