1) Normally how long it takes to get visa?
2) majority get 2 years visa?

it is mentioned on BHC Isb website that it will take 24 hours for straightforward app? true?

BHC takes 10-15 days
I have seen many cases with only one year visa only.

they also called and verified from current employer and talked to me.
is this alarming? as i have seen on forum, whomever they verfiy they failed them

Many congratulations root!
Now just a little confirmation. What proof did you present for your accomodation there? As far as I remember, in Farah's case it was her uncle's email. Did you follow the same? I am about to file my EC application and I plan to attach email from a relative there in the UK. But few people told me that fax is a better option instead of email. Can you please advise on this?
