Countersignatory

Post by juliajules1979 » Wed Jun 06, 2012 11:28 am

Hi

I am having my citizenship ceremony on 16/06/2012, but am flying back to my country for 3 weeks on 1st July, therefore wil not be able to send off for my British Passport before I go. Therefore I wanted to get my countersignatory to sign my application before I go so that I can submit it as soon as I arrive back in UK on 23/07/2012. If my countersignatory dates the form say the 27/06/2012 and I send it on the 23/07/2012, will it be too much of a gap between the date of signing and sending, is anyone aware of a limit to the amount of time that can elapse.

Many thanks
