Alert! Cardiff PEO only able to process EMPLOYED Tier1 Cases

My friend received this message in an email sent to him on 30-May-2012 "From: BEU Cardiff <BEU.Cardiff@ukba.gsi.gov.uk>"

"We are only able to process EMPLOYED Tier 1 General cases here in Cardiff. If you are applying for a Tier 1 General visa and are self employed or a director of a company, we are unable to make a same day decision in Cardiff and these applications will be sent to a specialist team for further investigation. You are advised to make a postal application, due to the complexity of these cases."

So this is just to make everyone aware who might get affected to be prepared.

so is PEO stopped for self employed???

I am employed + self employed..

Secondly does this mean postal application will take even longer now.

Yes, the case was self employed. Even if you are combination of employed+self employed you may still be affected and the decision may not be made same day.

Postal applications may take 2-3 months. If you are not comfortable with waiting time, then try booking at another PEO (Croydon, Solihul etc)
