mn1 form

Post by mahetus1 » Sun Jun 10, 2012 8:42 pm

Hi All,

I would be grateful for guidance on a simple query for MN1 form.

I had HSMP->Tier 1 visa leading to ILR one year ago.

My 2 year old daughter was born before I had ILR. She got ILR as well with me.

I am now applying for naturalisation on AN form and at same time submitting her MN1 form.

first question on form, section of british nationality act under which you would like application to be considered,

answer could be section 1(3) or section 3(1) as both options are applicable.

Which option did I put as an answer?

Many thanks in advance for valuable guidance.

PS:
my wife has also got ILR with me and my daughter but she is not applying for naturalisation as she had driving offence which is not spent.

Where was your daughter born?

- UK - apply under section 1(3)
- Other - apply under section 3(1)

Many thanks Jambo for your prompt reply.

She was born in UK so should be under section 1(3)

I found answer on studying other threads and common questions link posted in this website- and came back to amend my post but you were too quick for me -many thanks.
