not to sound like a nag, but it's all listed in earlier in this thread (i keep modifying/editing my original post to keep it all together).

i'm in country. application sent 8-Dec-06, arrived 11-Dec-06. No idea when credit card charged as it's a company credit card and I don't have online access for that. reference recieved this morning.

i'm sorry if my post came across as rude. it was meant as a suggestion, not a slap in the face. i was simply stating that you should read an entire post b/f asking a question. if you don't see the answer listed, then ask away. this is an open forum meant to help people like you & me- who are entering a world of immigration-newness.

good luck with your application- based on your date you should be getting a reference number email shortly. if i didn't recieve by next monday, i'd shoot them an email.

Hi there,

Application posted: 04/12/06
Delivered: 05/12/06
Payment (by debit card): 06/12/06
No reference email or number was sent back to.
Approval Letter Received in the mail: 14/12/06

Mine was an in-country application, and the points breakdown was follows:

Degree: 30pts
Salary: 40pts
UK Exp: 5 pts

Total claimed: 75pts

So all-in-all it's taken just 8 days (6 working days) for me to receive my approval - not too bad I think. I was on a work permit which is valid until 01/08, I still work for the same company I started out with, but now I have the flexibility to move onto something else if I like, which is a great relief.

Wishing everyone else on this forum waiting for results everything of the best.

Hope you all have a great festive season (I know I will be :D )

Cheers,

Clint

Hi,

It seems all my documentation was accepted on face value, so I don't believe any further verification was needed or done.

Also, all documents along with the approval letter are sent back recorded mail (requires signature) via Royal Mail.

Cheers,
Clint
