ILR Eligibility Related : 10 Years Long Residency Route

Post by imran.khan1234 » Sat Jun 09, 2012 7:30 pm

Dear Madam / Sir,

Can I apply for an ILR under 10 years long residency. I am on HSMP and completed almost 11 years of continued stay in UK.

Q.1) My question is that whether my application will consider for ILR under 10 years long residency rule when I spend more than 10 years which is 11 years in the UK.

Warm Regards

Imran

Your nearest relative? Actually, that is not a bad idea. Wait while I go ask my granny for her opinion.

I did not meant to offend you neither I have a doubt on your piece of information nor my intention to hit your Ego . Merely trying to re assure myself through a piece of source.

Broaden your thoughts right according to your designation on this forum as "Guru".

I hope if your granny can provide a piece of source and further I am looking forward.

The problems lies with your perception and I'm not here to have my ego massaged (everyone remains anonymous!). You are not offending me; my individual comments are worthless but they are made in a discussion forum that is completely dedicated to immigration issues where anything that is wrong or bogus can be challenged by other individuals who are highly-knowledgeable on such matters. So I don't see how anyone could be wrestling with the dilemma of trying to decide whether or not to choose the information provided by this forum over the advice of a relative. Is your relative well-informed on immigration issues?

Hi

Simple answer to your question your relative is wrong. You can apply for ILR any day once after completing your 10 years of Lawfull residence in UK.

Good luck for your ILR.

Lucapooka,

He has well informed and applied for his ILR an Year ago. I simply tried to interlink a discussion made between family friends of mine with people at immigration boards.com. For removal of an ambiguity, I requested for a proof of knowledge provided.

Smam,

Many Thank you.
