Queries on new HSMP rules

Post by niruv » Fri Dec 15, 2006 7:26 am

Hi All,
Following are the list of evidence i have, please advice me accordingly.

Age
------

Indian Driving Licence
Q. In india we get driving licence in smart card (Credit card type). so

can we send this smart card to HO as age proof or is there any other

way to submit age proof

Exceptional evidence
Notarized copy of passport

Qualification
-------------

Masters degree certificate
Consolidated marksheet
Q. Do we need to send bachelors degree certificate for safe side or only

masters degree certificate and consolidated marksheet are enough?

Past earnings
-------------
Q. In india financial year is from 01-Apr to 31-Mar, so i can show the IT returns for only three months i.e jan, feb and march 2006.
or Instead of confusing them can i show only
a)12 months payslips from Jan-2006 to Dec-2006
b) Bank statements
and
c) Letter from employer stating my salary.

English language
----------------
Letter from university form where i have done my masters.

Please advise me.
Do i need to show any more evidence other then the above mentioned ?
and finally will it be any harm in showing both required and exceptional evidence?

Thanks in advance
Niruv.

Hi,

My suggestions are as follows,

Age
------
Not sure on this one, cuz I submitted my birth certificate only. Suggestions welcome...

Qualification
-------------
Q. Do we need to send bachelors degree certificate for safe side or only
masters degree certificate and consolidated marksheet are enough?
Your Masters degree with the NARIC certificate is good enough. Sending your bachelor degree is not going to help you here.

Past earnings
-------------
Q. In india financial year is from 01-Apr to 31-Mar, so i can show the IT returns for only three months i.e jan, feb and march 2006.

b) Bank statements
and
c) Letter from employer stating my salary.

You sure can claim exceptional evidence in past earnings and show bank statements and letter from employer. However, it just might help to include the last available form 16 incase the CW want to have a look (I did that just be on the safe side).

If you are confident on your original evidence, I don't see any point in sending documents for exceptional evidence as well. The guidelines state that more documents could delay the processing your case.

Thanks in advance

For English proficiency, the letter has to be from the university you completed your bachelor degree from (and not masters).

Hi All,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

paramjit - If my driving licence (Smart card) will not work then i have only option to submit my notorized copy of my passport.
Should i give the same reason in the application for submitting the exceptional evidence?

Please advice.

Can we send urgent treatment form along with the application?
I am expecting an offer letter form the UK employer.

Thanks!!

1. No reasons For not accepting the Smart Card...
2. If u wana be 100%, send ur notarised copy of passport also. But u dont need to claim the exceptional evidence. Just mention in the cover letter u attached 2 evidences. Tick both evidences in form also.

Please advice.
