Tier 1 Dependent - Maintenance of Funds

Apologies for asking similar questions but need your help

1) I have a Tier 1 General visa and my wife already has a valid dependent visa. I am now applying for a dependent visa for my son. My questions is should I show
£900 (for myself) + £600 (for my son) + £600 (for my wife) or will just £900 (for myself) + £600 (for my son) be enough as my wife already has a valid dependent visa.

2) Can I show Fixed Deposit or Term Deposit for maintenance of funds?
